I have mixed feelings, maybe it was nostalgia. I wasn't expecting much, but I loved seeing old characters again. In my opinion, it was neither good nor bad, it was entertaining.

At the time it was released, it was ok, but with evolving quality of single horror movies like e.g. 'Heredetary', 'The Conjuring' or 'Insidious' and some other really good horror movies, today the "I know what you have done franchise" mostly looks like trash for me. But I also see it a little nostalgic. When I was younger, it looked better to me.

P.S.: I didn't see the reboot. Maybe that's better, but I guess the basic story will be the same or close to the same.
