The current version of the IMDb Poll celebrates its 12th anniversary on September 4, 2025. Whether you're a poll author, poll board member or a regular voter, you have all contributed to keeping our poll community going for this long. I asked them to visit this thread if they want to learn to make polls. I have offered help in the original post of this thread. I don't know what else we can do but wait and see. As of now, there are 16 votes for "I would like to, but I don't know how to begin". That's actually more than I expected.

I took the step with my new idea to get a little closer to the users. I tell them about me and how I got into it. That should lower the step to try. I also ask the users, what kind of poll they would do, to associate them with us and keep them thinking about. Maybe some take the step? The title of the idea is also intended in that way.
