FYI, I recommend the documentary, "Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story" celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic film, featuring interviews with Steven Spielberg and other filmmakers, as well as behind-the-scenes insights into its troubled production. It premiered on July 10, 2025, on National Geographic and is available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

I think with "The Cast" and then showing each actor single is done double, somehow. Anyway I do like it. It was one of the first horror movies I saw. And I frightened to death when the shark appeared in the back of Brody. The moment when you want to shout: "OooHH WOW!DUCK AND COVER, BRODY!" I did like the camera work. The movie was taken very visual. The cut also was pretty good, it had a good flow. The dialogues are catchy and striking, but also a little over the top in some scenes. Well ... the 1970s. ;) Then it was normal to put in some hysteria. Most excellent shocking movies were like this. E.g. Airport. ;)

I do like the movie on a philosophical basis. Three man on a boat, working together, talking, like in a campfire situation. I also admire the vory good cast and the all-in-all making of the movie. It was a milestone, indeed. I just miss an option: I like the movie. It is an historical movie-milestone, but I'm also critical of demonization of wild animals, which could lead to their extinction. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0924508/mediaviewer/rm1049595136/

You're right, but after all, it's a 50-year-old movie. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I like that, because I'm older. So no one has to critisize me for my past.
