Also, it doesn't seem that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train, The Chaos Class Failed the Class and The Best of Youth have ever been in the IMDb top 250, where did you see them?

In regards the Top 250, I'm referring to the "Year" lists that give you a badge if you watch them all, this was for 2025: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls4154574033

I noticed that One Battle After Another entered the Top 250, but it fell out before the end of the year.

Then you don't mean to ask about new entries to the top 250 list during 2025 but only those that were present in the last list of the year?

@Pencho15​ When I say "2025", I mean "The 2025 Top 250 list". I'm sure there are multiple films that entered, and many that couldn't be verified - there are films that constantly go in and out of the 250th spot, for example, so you could only track them all if you looked at the Top 250 for 365 days a year. The list is IMDb's official "2025 Top 250".

I'm also surprised you can't see The Chaos Class Failed The Class, as it's still at No. 162 to this day: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0252488

@MovieCat​ I was checking this source: http://top250.info/stats/?9/7485 to see when they entered the ranking for the first time. Since it doesn't include that movie now I see it is not a great resource.

There used to be another great page with the top 250 history that I always used, but unfortunately it is no longer online and this replacement seems to have failures.

@Pencho15​ Ah! It looks as if that just compiles them by their overall ratings, whereas the actual Top 250 has some other calculations, weighted average, etc.

According to that site, that film was first in the chart in 2008, which explains why it isn't in their list of the latest new entries.

If you stick with the year-end chart, this should probably be clarified in the poll text, something like:

"Five films made the end-of-year IMDb Top 250 for the first time in 2025."

@Peter_pbn​ Weird... it definitely didn't make the year-end list for 2008 as I had the "seen them all" badge for that year.

I've since seen "Chaos Class", but I hadn't when I got the badge.
