Yay, Happy Pride Month! 'Very good list but I'm wondering about The Talented Mr. Ripley: 'Good film and, granted I haven't seen it in a while, but the only LGBT character that I remember is Philip Seymour Hoffman's character and he had a rather small part -- am I forgetting something? Other than that question, the list looks good. : )Oh, can you add a "Q" to LGBT? The Q encompasses everything so it's more complete that way. Despite having an LGBTQ+ character, not every movie in your list deals with LGBTQ themes. Maybe Popular films with a LGBTQ+ Character would be more accurate?

Dallas Buyers Club

My favourite LGBTQ film is Robin William's The Birdcage. Though rather dated, it has a wonderful story combining both drama and comedy.

I would not classify some of the films in the poll as LGBT+ films as sexuality in a very minor component, a minor character or hardly even mentioned. I would say that those films have some 'LGBT Interest' rather than being LGBT+ films in themselves. Some greater LGBT+ films with a central LGBT+ plot and characters have been missed out.

Boys Don't Cry HAS TO BE in this list, oscar-winning Hilary Swank played an absolutely outstanding role, in a based in real life story of a transgender mtf living in rural Nebraska. This whole movie is about LGBTQ+, and not just a minor detail like many movies in this list.
