Live Poll: Silly Monsters - Good Movies

Intro: In some old monster movies the monsters clearly look more funny than scary. At the timestamps these movies were released, the audiences got impressed by the look of these bad beeings. Slideshow Which of these classic movies with a certainly silly Monster is the most innovative milestone considering the time of its release? Please discuss here. Suggestions: Only movies rated 6.0+, better 6.5+, best 7.5+ I do amens slow under 6.0, if the movie is a specimen. It is an image poll, so please make sure, there is a image useable for the list. It must be monsters, at least in some kind. Maximum 2 movies per franchise. Only movies which are at least 40 years old (before 1985). List: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls4105888025/ Poll: https://www.imdb.com/poll/GwZMQcONS8kKXjgkG4FMMw/

Just the movies should have 6.0+, Target Earth has 5.5 It's rated by 1638 users. Would you call it a specimen for a good movie? I believe in your experience since you seem to be the oldest watcher on the board. ;)

@Breumaster, Sorry, Target Earth is not really a good movie, and should be excluded. I just remember it having the preposterous idea that the robots could be stopped because they used vacuum tubes that could be shattered with a sonic device.

Ok, I'll skip it. It's right that the movie all-in-all stands in foreground, not (only) the monster which is shown. I tried to keep in movies, the people will remember, because they left a stamp in time.

@dan_dassow: I've made an exception myself: 'It Came from Beneath the Sea' (1995) That's because it was a blockbuster at its time, even though it has only a 5.9 rating. It was one of the specimens I stated in the intro.

Yay! Changed it. It was unclear for me, if it was go- or stop-motion. I betted with myself that someone will correct me, if it's wrong. ;)

No, too late. As you can see above 1984 or earlier. I could also say 1985- ... at least 40 years old.

U would update it, ACT_1. But the poll is closed. At the moment that happens to all new polls, so it is questionable if the is useful. If the polls would get to a life status again, I would consider to put it on the list immediatelly. Thank you for suggesting anyway.
