Suggestions are more than welcome; I definitely left out a few. Edit: I kinda hate the title, any suggestions for that are welcome as well.

@ethan I think the first half of the title is quite strong. Perhaps leave it at that and cut "Hollywood's Disdained Creations," which dilutes the first half. The first half is all that's needed.

Great idea! And you've got some great examples so far.

Btw, I really like the first half of the title: "Their Own Worst Critic" is great. Now that the idea and present title is on my mind, perhaps an idea will shake loose. If so, I'll let you know. : )

Hi Ethan, I suggest two small edits for #9:

Shia LaBeouf said that he "Hated it. I just didn't enjoy it." Citing the previous year's writers' strike, he believed this led to a rushed script, which harmed the film.

I found this comments from Ryan Reynolds on Green Lantern:

“There was just too many people spending too much money and when there was a problem rather than say, ‘OK, let’s stop spending on special effects and let’s think about character’,” Reynolds said.

“That just never... the thinking was never there to do that,” he said, adding. “And to their credit, it’s a very old school way of looking at things. It’s just ‘Let’s just keep spending our way through this.’ And that was... it didn’t work.

Bill Murray on The Garfield movie:

Bill Murray only voiced animated car Garfield because of a misunderstanding: he thought Joel Coen, of the Coen brothers fame, had written the script. In fact, it was written by Joel Cohen (Cheaper by the Dozen,Monster Mash: The Movie). “I was exhausted, soaked with sweat, and the lines got worse and worse. And I said, ‘Okay, you better show me the whole rest of the movie, so we can see what we’re dealing with,’” he told GQ. “So I sat down and watched the whole thing, and I kept saying, ‘Who the hell cut this thing? Who did this? What the f*** was Coen thinking?’ And then they explained it to me: it wasn’t written by that Joel Coen.”

Viola Davis on The Help:

Viola Davis was nominated for an Oscar for The Help. Yet, the actor deeply regretted playing the maid Aibileen Clark, saying her character’s voice is not heard enough in the final film. “Have I ever done roles that I’ve regretted? I have, and The Help is on that list,” she told The New York Times of Tate Taylor’s film. “I want to know what it feels like to work for white people and to bring up children in 1963, I want to hear how you really feel about it. I never heard that in the course of the movie.”
