The turnout for the polls are pretty low in general not just for unique polls like this one.

I know, but 77 votes after two days is just too low. And I guess I didn't expect my most creative poll to be my least voted. Thanks for calling it unique (and for voting for the doors). :)

In deed, the user counts of the votings deplete felt monthly. I got the impression that poll page is dying slowly, but also continuously. I remember times when polls reached a few hundret or even a few thousand votes and a few polls with 5 digit counts. Now 200 votes are big. I guess the reason is the rebuilding of the IMDb homepage for cellphones, which placed the polls hidden within 2 clicks. On the other hand, I guess we lost many users with the pure flood of "your favorite" polls. It often is the least ammount of work, but also dull, somehow. So good polls get not the attention like the more demanding polls that need an ammount of research like we often do. Like your poll. I have the feeling that the interested people have left and the more simple voters stayed.

Just researched. It's 340 polls with 5 digit counts of votes. It's 4653 polls with 4 digit counts of votes. That's from 15.143 polls. I don't remember when the last (now) 4 digit poll was released. I got no 5 digit votes poll, but 18 poll with 4 digit votes. The last one of my polls with a 4 digit count of votes was released on 2021/01/21. It might grow to nineteen, because one of them has 999 votes. Then my last would be released on 2021/05/03

The update of the Poll pages to the new system is coming soon, hopefully once that happens we will recover the spotlight we lost when the homepage was updated.

Do you know further things you can share? Eventually the possible time-spann? I'm not sure it will change, because it is changed to that for so long now. I have the impression that the polls are not important enough for IMDb. I hope that Col Needham hears my prayers. ;) If not, the poll section will deplete more and more. :( I wish I had your hope, Pencho.

It shouldn't be more than a couple of months. Probably sooner.
