Hi roaarry,

FYC:

Sean Penn

Daniel Day-Lewis

Daniel Craig

Idris Elba

Adam Driver

I know you already have 35 but Penn and Day-Lewis feel like rather glaring omissions and it seems that the list could easily lose Glen Powell and Jason Mamoa. Reynolds, Stratham, and Cavill could probably be cut to make more room, as well. And as much as I adore Paul Mescal, he and Austin Butler are relatively new enough that they're probably not necessary. I'm certainly not suggesting to cut all but if you want to make any switches, those might be possibilities.

@rubyfruit76 thanks for your response! They are all valid suggestions and I have decided to include Daniel Craig and replace with Ryan Reynolds. Allow me to clarify why I have decided not to include all considerations.

Seann Penn is a great actor and I was recently reminded after watching One Battle After Another, but I have reservations of him being a leading man and he appears to be more of a supporting actor these days.

Daniel Day-Lewis would wipe this list clean if I was asking who the best actor is. I love that his career has been resurrected this year with Anemone. Im not convinced this is is a permanant revival but I could be wrong.

Idris Elba would have easily made this list 10 years ago. Too many stinkers recently and he seems more focused on other projects outside acting.

Adam Driver could be replaced by someone but I struggled to decide who to replace. Plus he is has been involved in a few flops in recent year.

I feel Glen Powell could be getting the Sam Worthington treatment from a few years ago, but its too early to call it as he has become very relevant in recent years. Big studios want to cast him the same way as Jason Momoa and Statham. The average movie goer loves them and they continue to get people into theatres. Henry Cavil has become less relevant in recent years but hes still considered as a lot of peoples favourite actor, it doesnt sit right dropping him.

You make good point about Paul Mescal and Austin Butler but they will get votes from younger generation and I honestly feel they eill remain relevant for many years.
