@ACT_1 thank you for your video. Curiously enough, in English the pronunciation is MAR-I-A, and most of these names are Spanish, Italian or German, I'm not a language expert, but these names are pronounced MAR-EE-A. I also included João Maria, being João the Portuguese version of John (English) or Johann (German). By the way, in my opinion, among them, the best sounding name is Klaus Maria.

Here are ten of the most notable songs that feature the name "Maria," ranging across different genres and decades: 1. **"Maria"** from *West Side Story* - A classic from the 1957 musical, this is arguably the most famous song with the name. Leonard Bernstein's music and Stephen Sondheim's lyrics make it an iconic piece of theater. 2. **"Maria, Maria"** by Santana ft. The Product G&B - This 1999 hit blends Latin rock with R&B and hip-hop, becoming one of Santana's biggest crossover successes. 3. **"Dear Maria, Count Me In"** by All Time Low - A pop-punk anthem from 2007 that became a staple for the genre and a fan favorite. 4. **"Maria"** by Blondie - Released in 1999, this song marked a successful comeback for the band, showcasing their signature blend of new wave and pop. 5. **"They Call the Wind Maria"** from *Paint Your Wagon* - This folk song from the 1951 Broadway musical is a well-known example, often associated with its cover by the Kingston Trio. 6. **"Maria"** by Ricky Martin - A major hit in the mid-1990s, this song helped solidify Martin's status as a global pop star. 7. **"Maria"** by Green Day - A fast-paced punk rock track from their 2002 compilation album *International Superhits!* 8. **"Maria"** by Justin Bieber - Featured on his 2012 album *Believe*, this track addresses a rumored relationship with a woman named Maria. 9. **"Maria"** by Michael Jackson - An early solo song from his 1972 album *Got to Be There*. 10. **"O Maria"** by Louis Prima - A lively and classic jazz song from the late 1950s.

Dan, this is worth a separate poll suggestion. I do like that idea. Would you do it? I think it's a challenge to convert it into a poll. I guess it would be an image poll.

My vote: Gian Maria Volontè His best performance, in my opinion, is in Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto (1970).

Was Rilke also an actor on stage? I didn't see any movie of him, just know him as a poet.

@Breumaster Stimmt, I have to change the title from "actors" to something that encompasses everything: writers, actors, composers, directors... celebrities, perhaps.

Is this supposed to be an April Fools Joke suggestion (albeit a super quirky esoteric one)?

It's so nice to see Christoph Maria Herbst on the list. In the early 2000s I didn't like him, but for now I think he is a genius actor, great guy, funny. I especialle like the movies where he plays with Iris Berben, or movies like 'Der Buchspazierer' and 'Lehrer Kann Jeder!'
