Poll Suggestion - Banned From SNL

Saturday Night Live (1975) has a notorious list of hosts and musical guests who were banned for life due to various on-air incidents, controversial behavior, or outright rule-breaking. While some bans are widely considered justified, others spark debate among fans as to whether the punishment fit the crime. Among these individuals, who do you think was most unfairly or undeservedly banned from SNL? perhaps in the intro text you could elucidate in one line why they were banned? I am curious now. In peoples poll there is no way to place a comment on the item itself.

I also think so, but why should there be no ability to write text in people-options? I did here in my Beautiqueen poll-list: https://www.imdb.com/de/list/ls594779355/mediaviewer/rm468462336/ I don't know what any of them did in SNL. I'm also curious now.

It's a little heavy to bring back Sinéad O'Connor or Norm MacDonald! Both are dead! I know they passed in last years, but I don't know where Frankenstein lives. Maybe you should re-design the question!? ;)

Premise changed - was a different poll back on the poll board when both were alive - I forgot to proof read before reposting

No problem, I just thought the question would be odd, ignoring the fact they are dead. Zappa also already passed in 1993. As you changed it, the question is way better.

Kirk, "living" needs to be removed from the question. And please capitalize From in the title. If you're unsure, IMDb uses AP style: https://capitalizemytitle.com/style/AP/

Kirk, is this your source? https://screenrant.com/saturday-night-live-snl-banned-performers-reasons/ If it is it's a good idea to mention it in the thread (since links can't be added to the list anymore)

I've been out of the loop for several months, and I'm noticing a lot of degraded features.

Not only! The bot runs completely wild now. Just a "bad" word combination is enough to trigger it and get privated. It seems to get worse every half year

Please fix the following typo: "Rage Against the Machine is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1991, the group consists of vocalist Zack De la Rocha, bassist and backing vocalist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello, and drummer Brad Wilk. Rage Against the Machine is well known for the members' revolutionary political views, which are expressed in many of the band's songs. As of 2010, they had sold over 16 million records worldwide." Your text: Banned after their ***1981*** musical guest spot for playing extremely offensive, profanity-laden songs and then instigating a chaotic onstage “riot” that caused approximately $200,000 in damage. The band was formed in 1991. They couldn't have been on SNL in 1981.

Apparently, Lorne Michaels denied that Chevy Chase was banned https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/lifestyle/chevy-chase-cant-change/ If you want to keep that option, perhaps a note could be added to explain the conflicting reports.

Maby they only say, they never banned someone, but internput them on a "no" list? I could imagine. On the other hand, why not recycle that idea? When you re-arrange the idea, it still could be useable, perhaps?
