Poll Suggestion: Best Film With No Articles, Numbers, Special Characters or Names in the Title (And Must Also Have Under 12 Characters)

List here. Note: There are only 3 articles in English: 'the', 'an' and 'a'. They are very commonly used in movie titles. Parasite's original title has 12 characters so I did not include it. Here are the 10 highest rated films (with at least 200,000 votes) without any articles, numbers, special characters or names, and also must have under 12 characters in the title.

Your title is rather long. I would suggest removing this part since you already mention it in the intro: (And Must Also Have Under 12 Characters)

I can shorten it to: "Titles Under 12 Characters With No Articles, Numbers, Special Characters or Names"

It seems inconsistent that you didn't include Parasite because its original (transcribed) title is too long, but you did include City of God and Spirited Away even though their original titles are too long. Also, Spirited Away is not under 12 characters.

You included four titles with the 8.5 rating. Other qualifying films have the same rating, so perhaps you should include them: Psycho, Rear Window, City Lights

Also Pulp Fiction

Deleted Forrest Gump, because of Forrest and Modern Times and Gladiator, because you already have it on the list. I think Peter and me picked up 4 really important examples in Film history that reach 8.5 and also match the 200.000 ratings.

Only if you count the space bar as character. Pulp=4 Fiction=7 4+7=11

Also Modern=6 Times=5 6+5=11. So I suppose you count the space bar as character.

I guess Spirited Away should be removed (13 characters)

No idea how I missed Spirited Away. Also I count spaces as characters.

Congrats! :D There is no question or appeal to vote for an option in the intro. Looks a little unusual to me.

Oh wow, I don't know how we missed that. Please add a question as soon as possible.

Where's the dang question? How and why was this published without an actual poll question?

Sorry. We make mistakes. As you can see from my comment above I already asked the author to add a question.

New description: Note: There are only 3 articles in English: 'the', 'an' and 'a'. They are very commonly used in movie titles. Only full English titles are taken account for. Here are the highest rated films (min. 8.5, at least 200,000 votes) without any articles, numbers, special characters or names, and also must have under 12 characters in the title. Which one of these films is your favourite?
