What surprises me most is that with these types of multi-million dollar investments, they usually recover that capital and make a lot of profit.

I guess they have their accountants who do their prognosis. Knowing that Tom Cruise already had incomes far beyond 1 billion dollars, maybe close to 2 billions, ... and growing, I can supose that he himself has put some income himself into the projects. I know he has tremendous wages. Sometimes with %s of profit. So he must have made more 100.000.000 dollars, with some of his movies. I guess 'War of the Worlds' was one of his biggest feasts.

I think any future Tom Cruise movie is a safe investment with high profit.
