Just a thought, I would say movie or film in the question, instead of title. As it defines the scope and avoids potential confusion that you might be asking about their favorite movie name.

Also, I agree with three or maybe four of your five selections for the answer pool. I immediately noticed the 'Man on Fire' was missing though and personally think it is among his five best works. The last two spots, I am split among four contenders. Here is the list of every media title he has written and three IMDb rankings by different measures. You certainly can go with current five, but might want to take a second look too.

Also, Helgeland has been responsible for shepherding more than a few notable movies as a director and/or producer, including 'Payback', 'A Knights Tale', '42', and 'Legend'.

@mariojacobs I agree, the potential answer pool makes the poll suggestion better as a longer poll than a face-off with his many solid screenplay credits. Plus, you avoid the hard decision of selecting his five most notable movies that he wrote.

Hi Mario, I like that you've been featuring writers in a lot of polls lately. Yay, writers! : ) 'The Taking of Pelham 123' and 'Robin Hood' both appear twice. In order to prevent duplicates, which has happened many time in suggested polls, I always put mine in alphabetical order. Or you could just "sort by" alphabetical order, although actually putting them in alphabetical order also has the benefit of making it easier on voters to find a title that they passed. There are also two films in his list of writing credits that aren't included: 'The Killer' and 'Finestkind.' The weird thing, though, is that would take you back to 27 films in your list and he only has 23 film writing credits. Hmmm.

Thank you for noticing. I removed 5 movies from my list and the duplicates. I guess someone updated the wikipedia list since 2022. 'The Killer' and 'Finestkind were included.
