Back in October 2023, World of Reel reported that the original cast of Sicario, Benicio del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Josh Brolin, would return for the third installment. That alone had fans breathing a sigh of relief, especially after the second film, Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado, delivered more firepower than finesse and left Blunt out of the equation entirely. Now, in an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Brolin gave the first meaningful update in months, saying the chances of Sicario 3 happening are “very, very real”.
