Poll Suggestion: Face-Off: Meter vs. Foot

The meter or metre is the base unit of length in the International System of Units (SI).

The foot (pl. feet) is a unit of length in the British imperial and United States customary systems of measurement.

Which is your favorite system of units?

I like the titles that you chose for the poll's images. I mean I've never seen '47 Meters Down' but it's so perfect for this poll, of course. I love 'Six Feet Under' as a series, as well as for this poll.  : )

Actually, they were the only titles that I found suitable for the idea.😀

I'll never understand why people still hang on the foot & inch system. The meter system is better handable because of the decimal calculation based on the International Prototype Meter, stored in Paris, France. You can become very more precise on it. Skip the foot system! ... And left driving! ;D

Meter, it makes sense and it is used practically everywhere. I also can't understand why United Kingdom and the United States keep using a system with Medieval roots.
