Poll Suggestion - Face-Off: The Final Verdict - Larry's Freedom vs. The Seinfeld Four's Imprisonment

The comedic genius of Larry David culminates in strikingly similar courtroom finales for both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. While the Seinfeld finale (1998) ended with Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail, the Curb Your Enthusiasm finale (2024) brought Larry David's own journey full circle, ultimately setting him free thanks to the events surrounding his sequestered jury. This led to his triumphant, meta-commentary: "This is how we should've done the finale!" Which of these starkly different final verdicts do you believe was the more fitting, impactful, or 'pretty, pretty, pretty good' outcome for its respective series? I can not speak about the Curb Your Enthusiasm finale but I can say that the first Seinfeld episode I watched was in fact the series finale. So? Going into the series mostly blind at the time? I'd still vote for that one.

Yes. When I moved to NYC years later and my friend had all of the DVDs.

@KirkPicard, I looks like you didn't save the edit. Please change: Seinfeld (1989)'s The Finale (1998) ending in the Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail To: Seinfeld (1989)'s The Finale (1998) ending with Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail

No, we were referring to the text under the option. In the intro, it should say While the Seinfeld (1989)'s The Finale (1998) ended with Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail, instead of While the Seinfeld (1989)'s The Finale (1998) ending with Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail,

Kirk, option 1 still needs to look like this: Seinfeld (1989)'s The Finale (1998) ending with Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer in jail

Oh my gosh, I love this one. How funny and your great writing skills work really well with comedy, too. Oh and this is my favorite: So, after years of kvetching and social assassinations, which ultimate verdict freedom or jail makes for the 'prettiest' finale in your book? ('Especially love the "kvetching.") I have two suggested edits, in addition to Jess's: Remove "the" in "While the Seinfeld (1989)'s" (more important than what's below) Double quotation marks around "pretty, pretty, pretty good"
