You've been isekai'd* into a fantasy universe. Other than tall-men** (AKA humans), which of the following races would you want to live your life as an adventurer or until you find your way back to this reality?

POLL:

~~

* Isekai'd: Past tense for isekai: Meaning: "Another world"Usually referring to Japanese stories (anime, manga, light novels or web novels) which involve the main character being transported into another world via either reincarnation, summoning, or a god transmigrating them. The setting is usually but not always, medieval fantasy with swords and magic. (Source: Urban Dictionary)

** Using the fictional races of Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meshi

@NYVKE You're kind of missing the point of the suggestion.

It's a Dungeons and Dragons adjacent fantasy world. And it's also an Isekai. With the exception of Middle-Earth which has races that are already covered (elves, hobbits are basically halflings/half-foots, orcs). What I assume the others - they take place in our world but with magic thrown in. That's not where most isekais are set. I'm not going to make a poll with so many redundant options: 8 franchises worth of elves; 7 franchises worth of dwarves; etc.... Then it's just whatever franchise is the most popular that gets the votes.

  1. I am keeping it simple: aesthetically speaking.
  2. Yes. I am promoting this particular favorite anime of mine.
