Speaking of 1926,  2017 was a sad year for celebrities born this year: Don Rickles, Jerry Lewis, Viola Harris, Richard Anderson, Harry Dean Stanton and Hugh Hefner.

I am very lucky that both of my parents are both alive and well. I am abundantly aware that 2017 was a very sad year for actors born in 1926.

Wow. I'm jealous. Enjoy them while you still can. Ha...I sound like I'm talking to a parent about her kids growing up.

PS - I kind of scanned the initial post and then went down the answers. Somehow I misunderstood and thought we were saying what year *WE* were born in. When you said (I thought) you were born in 1926 I immediately jumped on email to express my stunned shock...good thing I realized the truth before you got that crazy message...!

I don't know, I can't decide between Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner and Willem Dafoe.

Dafoe is from the town I went to college in. Harry Houdini as well.

Dafoe's great line when he was on some late night snow - the greatest escape Houdini ever pulled was from Appleton, WI. :D
