Note: The film is based on the real Mystic Pizza (56 W Main St, Mystic, CT 06355)

which predates the film. The real Mystic Pizza shows the film Mystic Pizza on a continuous loop in their restaurant.

Boiling Point (I) (2021)

Enter the relentless pressure of a restaurant kitchen as a head chef wrangles his team on the busiest day of the year.

The Wing or The Thigh? (1976)

Charles Duchemin, a well-known gourmet and the publisher of a famous restaurant guide, is waging a war against fast-food entrepreneur Tricatel to save the French art of cooking. After having agreed to appear on a talk show to show his skills in naming food and wine by taste, he is confronted with two disasters: his son wants to become a clown rather than a restaurant tester and he, the famous Charles Duchemin, has lost his taste.Robert Zeithammel <zeit@cip.physik.uni-muenchen.de>

Mushrooms (1995)

In the tradition of Arsenic and Old Lace, comes this morbidly funny Australian tale of murder and mayhem at the hands of two charming old ladies.

Kings of Pastry (2009)

The collar awarded to the winners of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman in France) is more than the ultimate recognition for every pastry chef - it is a dream and an obsession. The 3-day competition includes everything from delicate chocolates to precarious six foot sugar sculptures and requires that the chefs have extraordinary skill, nerves of steel and luck. The film follows Jacquy Pfeiffer, founder of The French Pastry School in Chicago, as he returns to France to compete against 15 of France's leading pastry chefs. The filmmakers were given first time/exclusive access to this high-stakes drama of passion, sacrifice, disappointment and joy in the quest to have President Sarkozy declare them one of the best in France.Anonymous

Sushi Sushi (1991)

Maurice Hartmann dropped out of college and created his own business: Sushi-Express, a home delivery business for Japanese dishes. His methods lead his project to bankruptcy. A skilled trader will take over the business.

@olisilumea

Pencho and Peter made a suggestion, I would have seconded, but didn't see that suggestion.

La Grande Bouffe is a classic, which realy lacks on the list.

Also another movie I would have suggested:

The Wing or the Thigh?

Which Dan also suggested. It's a classic.

And .... Delicious

Which was released in 2021. It's one of the best movies about food, I've ever seen.

As a hobby cook, I took many inspiration from it.

@olisilumea The Tender Bar needs to be removed, I saw the film, it has nothing to do with food. It is just a coming of age story where the uncle of the main character happens to have a bar, I don't remember anyone cooking, but if they did it was not important.

El hoyo also seems like it shouldn't be there, based on the plot, the food is only a plot resource to move the story, but it doesn't seem to be the focus of the movie.

Streaming movies online has become increasingly popular, and there are several great platforms available. One such site is 123movies , which offers a vast collection of films across various genres. It's user-friendly and designed to provide a smooth viewing experience. You’ll find both classics and new releases, making it easy to discover something you’ll enjoy. While browsing, keep an eye out for their curated lists, which can help you find popular titles quickly. Just be cautious about ads; most streaming sites have them, but this one has a relatively unobtrusive setup.
