I loved the Wednesday series and I am a huge Harry Potter fan. There are so many references to Harry Potter and I am not sure if they are accidental or intentional. For me the most remarkable similarity was the blood sacrifice of Wednesday Addams to reanimate the body of Joseph Crackstone which is reminiscent of the graveyard scene in The Goblet of Fire where Harry Potters blood is used in a spell reincarnate Voldemort.
