Poll Suggestion: IMDb Poll Board: Homage To Gutenberg — Favorite Book
Johannes Gutenberg (c. 1400 – 1468) was a German inventor, printer and publisher who introduced printing to Europe with his press.
His work is regarded as a milestone of the second millennium, ushering in the modern period of human history.
Here follows an index of titles (adaptations, documentaries) related to an IMDb Poll Board Member's favorite book.
Which title would you be interested in watching? Or which book would you be interested in reading?
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls089279216/
If you wish to contribute to the concept: MAX 5 titles + the book related to the movie/documentary/series (adaptation)

I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for.
Perhaps it would be easier to ask for our favorite adaptation of a book?

My favorite book is the Bible, so I don't know how you would quantify that on the list / poll suggestion but I guess you could add The Passion of the Christ to the list.

@mariojacobs ,
My favorite book is "CRC Standard Mathematical Tables". However, it would be a challenge to adapt this book to film or television. My second favorite book is "I, Robot" by Isaac Asimov. Sadly, the film adaption dishonors my favorite fictional character, Susan Calvin. My third favorite book is "Foundation" (and the Foundation series) by Isaac Asimov.

I'm very curios about Dante Alghieri's Divine Comedy which I ordered last month. I still didn't touch it, except considering its condition.

I don't know if this works but one of my favorite books (and the first on Jess's poll because I put mine in alphabetical order) is 'Ariel' by Sylvia Plath. It's her most influential collection of poems. Here's a movie about Sylvia Plath that specifically looks at her life as a poet (not as a fiction writer) and her relationship with her poet-husband, which largely fueled 'Ariel." She wrote it shortly before committing suicide and the movie focuses on that last era of her life.

Hi Mario,
If it's too difficult to find a film for the single favorite book of each Poll Boarder, there were a lot of books on Jess's poll that were made into movies. Off the top of my head, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Fault in Our Stars, and A Tale of Two Cities. A few more were related (for example, my post below about the first book in my list in Jess's poll).
And some may not be able to identify their one most favorite book (I couldn't).
Just a thought.
And all hail to Gutenberg! I think he had to have been the most important person of that millennia, and wow, how could there be just one (?) but in his case, it might be true. Amazing the impact.

Stan Lee:
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels
Stephen King:
Stephen King: A Necessary Evil
If only one, then I would pick the Stephen King documentary.
