Poll Suggestion: Rodgers and Hammerstein

Rodgers and Hammerstein was a theatre-writing team of composer Richard Rodgers (1902–1979) and lyricist-dramatist Oscar Hammerstein II (1895–1960), who together created a series of innovative and influential American musicals.

Their popular Broadway productions in the 1940s and 1950s initiated what is considered the "golden age" of musical theatre.

Their work garnered 34 Tony Awards, 15 Academy Awards, 2 Pulitzer Prizes and 2 Grammy Awards.

Rodgers and Hammerstein musical theatre writing partnership has been called the greatest of the 20th century.

Which is your favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein movie?

Hi Mario, great idea for a poll! I can't believe these guys didn't have a poll before this. You're filling a void, for sure. : ) I suggest a few small edits: Their work garnered 34 Tony Awards, 15 Academy Awards, two Pulitzer Prizes and two Grammy Awards. ('changed "2" to "two" in two place. Oh, and I'd also remove the italics. They signify specific things.) Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical (added 's to Hammerstein) Which is your favorite movie based on a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical? (since they weren't the filmmakers, this is more precise)

Hi, thanks for the input, but if I edit the text I will lose the links to wikipedia, what do you think?

Since you have them linked two other places in the intro, I think it's fine to not have their names linked again.

Do you intend to only have one movie per musical? Otherwise, there are more version of some of them like State Fair (1962) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056526/reference/ The King and I (1999) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0160429/reference/ The King and I (2018) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8887846/reference/
