Why is That Thread Always Swallowing Postings?

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdb-poll/poll-suggestions-jubilee-actors-celebrities-50th-birthday/68e004312d92837f889a2ddd

Since last week, this thread is always swallowing postings. They seem to vanish into oblivion.

The thread is a long-time project, I'm into and I want to have it all clear there, like I wrote it.

But I write a posting and a minute later it's gone. Not privated, just vanished. Can someone

tell me what happens there?

Please note that it's thread, not threat. :)

I don't know why that happened, but I remember in your Cinematic Interiors thread, when there were many replies to a post, you had to click "View previous replies" or something to see them all. I think some posts were even removed from that thread, because if you look at j-man's post here, it says there are 24 comments, but only 20 are shown:

Not sure if it's the same problem in your Birthday thread.

First of ll, thank you for pointing out the "thread/threat"-thing. The strange side for me is, that I already know about that and still often make it. I don't know why. This word often gets me stumbling. ;)

I tried to find that "View previous replies"-line, in deed it was one of my first thoughts after Vadurath mentioned it in the other tread. But I didn't see such a line. I know that this is not MY site. Generally I'm a guest and guests have to obey the rules and be polite. Ok, so far.

But on the other hand I think it's not fair to delete one's postings without announcement or obvious reason, at least leaving a note. Because I stand in front of my thread and search for things I know I've put there and saw as granted they would be there. It completely throws me from the loop and baffles me, when that happens. With a short note, it would be annoying, but not so diffusing. Best with explanation why. Especially for the last few Birthday entries I made a list of, the equivalent misses in the thread.

First I thought, the server would have a hick-up. But then I discovered that even when I re-do the entries (postings) and visit a day later or somewhat, they again disappeared. If there would have been an obvious reason, I wouldn't have written that down here.

This also happened to me a couple of times, but it was not because of a thread. A few times when I tried to post a problem on IMDb Poll, it got deleted for some reason. Most notable was when I posted some Emmy related poll suggestion a month or so ago. The thread got privated and I posted a problem under IMDb Poll that my poll suggestion was privated. An hour or two later, when I checked the community, the thread (problem) was deleted and the poll suggestion wasn't marked private anymore, but I didn't get any notifications from an IMDb employee that my suggestion was un-privated. The same happened once when I posted another suggestion which was privated, but deleted later. These situations might be connected somehow.

When it' privated, usually it' no problem, because you yourself can see it, copy it, paste it in another posting. You then can correct it and re-post it without getting privated. But when it's gone, it's gone. There simply is nothing. Zero. Void. Oblivion.

The privating problem is widely known by all of us, especially by them, who post often, like e.g. me. I can see all my privated posts. It has nothing to do with this case!

Yes, and that's exactly what I've experienced! The privating is not the problem, but I'm saying that one of my posts was privated and then disappeared, I couldn't see it at all, it's gone, like you said! The same with that other post, when I asked why was my post private (but privating had nothing to do with this, as you said), it was just gone. Disappeared.

Yes, but why? That's what I ask for. If someone deletes them on comprehensible reason, it wouldn't be so awkward. But deleting with leaving no note about is cowardly, somehow. Maybe it's a technical problem and no one's to blame. If it's like that, I guess the owner of the forum would be glad for users that point the fail out.
