A list which I created won't display online despite being public

I've got quite a few lists on IMDB which are public but one which I decided to make public almost a week ago is not visible. Here's the link to the list which I made: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls595432428 Here's the URL for my lists: https://www.imdb.com/user/ur4025773 I would like to see my list go live as is. There is no information coming up on the website as to why my list isn't going public despite me enabling that option there.

Hello @deeflee, I see that the list has been blocked because it breaches our policies. Please take into consideration that lists that include: • Lists containing external (non-IMDb) URLs • Lists containing information relating to minors or personal data • Objectionable language in list titles/descriptions are in breach of our policies and will be automatically blocked.

Hi Jon. The relevant policy would be the external URLs. My list has 100s of incomplete URLs, almost entirely for Wikipedia entries (because I was trying not to trip up any IMDB prohibitions on this). So, it would take me ages to remove each partially complete URL for a specific entry on my list. The Wikipedia entries are entirely encyclopaedic and intended to be informative for those who seek to learn more about the entries in my list. I would be surprised if I wasn't in good standing on IMDB and my URLs don't direct to any malicious sites, so, would it be possible to escalate this issue in order to allow my post to go live? Is there a way of removing 'objectionable' URLs in an efficient way as an alternative? I.e. I don't want to do 100s of these one at a time, for each entry in my list. As I mentioned previously, there are no reasons provided by IMDB as to why my list is blocked, even though it appears as public when I am logged in.

Hello deeflee, Thank you for your message. While I understand the links might not re-direct to malicious websites, it's our policy to disallow external URLs (non-IMDb links) in List titles, descriptions, and notes (i.e., item descriptions). You can still include links to other IMDb pages in all List fields. For more information please see our Lists FAQ: https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/lists-faq/GNQMN47VZSE7KW38?ref_=helpsrall# Regarding editing your lists; the fastest option would be through a computer or mobile browser. By selecting the Edit option on your list, you'll be able to go through all text boxes faster and select any external URL and delete it.

Hi Jolene. My list is to do with songs, so the partial URLs that I've provided for each entry in my list doesn't compete with IMDB entries as IMDB don't have the kind of information that I am alluding to. Since my list has literally hundreds of entries, the Edit button for each entry would take me an extremely long time to remove the URLs that I have for each entry. What's annoying about this is that the IMDB site actually prevented me from posting full or partial URLs and gave me notice of what the problem was. What I put up was not prevented and I certainly wouldn't have carried on for hundreds of entries if it didn't seem allowable by IMDB. This is the kind of policy that wasn't enforced before, perhaps prior to Amazon taking over IMDB. It's the kind of policy that I could imagine being reversed at some later point in any case. As I say, the partial URLs for each entry are all for Wikipedia, which is clearly not a suspect site and my intent is not to provide competing URLs for what is available on IMDB, as they are not comparable. Since the solution that you provided for removing partial URLs is extremely time consuming, is there some other method that could be employed? By allowing such links, IMDB still has the option for its users to flag or report inappropriate content. I'm sure my list wouldn't fall foul of that and so long as such flagging/reporting wasn't baseless, my list wouldn't be 'problematic' for IMDB. Hoping for some solutions that wouldn't require me spending hours going through hundreds of entries in my list.

Hi deflee - We appreciate your feedback concerning our List policies. As Jon and Jolene have already mentioned, we don't allow any type of external links (full or partial) on lists, and in order for your list to be eligible for display you will need to remove the partial links. I understand your list has a high volume of entries, unfortunately, there is no easy way to bulk remove the links, this will need to be done manually.
