about the export feature

i just think that would be nice to add a "list" column in exported file. so you can see which one of your lists have this movie in them.

Not sure I understand.

Are you asking for every line item to include the name of the list?

List names can be quite quite long.

The list name is already part of the export file name.

You can only export 1 list at a time, so you know at the moment you export which list the items come from. You could add a column and paste a meaningful indicator on the lines yourself after opening the exported file.

Hi, Amir Hossein. I'm curious to know whether or not whatever it is that you're trying to do involves grep the regular expression command?.If so, there are ways to processing multiple files in such a way as to ensure that the output indicates which particular files match the query. If not, then please tell us what tools you are expecting to use or what your use cases are.

hi. thx for responses.

yes i undretand you can export any individual list.

but you can also export you ratings as a list. (and some of titles in my rating are in multiple lists)

so i though it would be better that exported file from my ratings list have another column that show me which one of my lists have this title in them.

Yes, I understood that, but it wasn't clear to me what purpose it would serve. I suppose, you could use the spreadsheet management software to fill in that column with the same value. Maybe ljdoncel has a macro for this. I could look into creating a bookmarklet that uses AJAX/fetch to download the contents of the export file to an environment variable in the loaded IMDb web page's memory and modify it, but I'm not sure how to automatically dump the contents of the variable into an actual file on the local file system. I apologize for bringing up all this stuff of a technical nature, but that's as superficial as it can get.

Well, your original post didn't specify you wanted this feature on the Ratings export.

And what should be in that cell? A string of list ids where the title appears? A string of list Names?

I have plenty of titles in multiple lists.

@jeorj_euler @bderoes

the reason why im asking for this is because i have multiple lists, like movie i own movies I've seen etc. and since i have too many titles, that would be better to know which lists have this title in them.

i know it might be a little silly.

and yes, unfortunately im not that enthusiastic about data science.
