I hope that you guys know that you have destroyed the IMDB app by forcing us to watch stupid ads before every video. The people that made this decision need to be fired on the spot !!! Stupidity at its finest. Ugh

@stevepowell_4209988 Thanks for the feedback, however, we have not (knowingly) inserted ads before every video. This sounds like a bug. While we do serve ads in front of videos, these are frequency capped such that once one ad has played, the next several videos you play should be ad free.
The first thing to try is deleting the IMDb app, restarting your phone and then re-installing, ensuring you have the latest version from the appropriate App Store. Please also disable any VPN, ad blocking or so called “accelerator” apps which might be installed as these can interfere with the frequency cap. If the problem continues, please reply here with the IMDb app version number, plus details of the version of iOS/Android running on your phone, the make & model of your phone, and the country in which you are located. Is the problem the same on WiFi and mobile networks? Finally, please also try a browser on your phone to access IMDb instead of the app and let us know if the issue is also present there?
