Bring Back "Ratings by Release Year Graph"
Dear IMDb Team,
I am a long-time IMDb user and an active film watcher who regularly rates movies on the platform. I would like to share a small feature request regarding the "Your Ratings → Insights" page.
In the past, IMDb displayed a very useful visualization showing the distribution of rated films by their release year (a timeline graph ranging roughly from the 1920s to the present). This graph allowed users to easily see which eras of cinema they had explored and how their viewing history was distributed across decades.
For many film enthusiasts, this feature was extremely valuable. It helped us better understand our viewing habits, discover gaps in certain periods of film history, and track our journey through classic and modern cinema.
Unfortunately, this visualization appears to have been removed or replaced with more limited statistics such as "Most Rated Years." While those summaries are helpful, they do not provide the same clear overview as the original timeline graph.
It would be wonderful if the original "Ratings by Release Year" graph could be restored to the Insights page. Many cinephiles rely on IMDb not only for ratings but also for understanding their film-watching history.
Thank you for maintaining such an important platform for film lovers.
Best regards,A dedicated IMDb user
