Cannot unsubscribe to newsletters, continue to receive junk emails

I have been a user of IMDB perhaps 20 years or so, and at times it seems IMDB ignores my email preferences for a time. About a month ago, I started getting emails from them once or twice a week about upcoming programming, yet when I click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, it gives me the messages that I was ALREADY unsubscribed. (yet they keep sending me these newsletters every couple of days). I have gone to their web site, and it suggests that I am NOT signed up to get any emails. How do I stop getting these?

As an addendum: I have tried replying to their emails, but it seems to get no response (or have no effect) and these emails keep coming. I have tried changing my status in the IMDB site sittings, to turn on the newsletters and then turn them off again, and that as well does not stop them mailings.

Clicking the "update your preferences" link at the bottom shows me that NO choices are selected. Clicking the "click here to unsubscribe" link give me the reply "You were already successfully unsubscribed", yet a month or two later, I am still getting them every 2-3 days or at minimum once or twice a week.
