Can't read comments to my posts here

Why am I notified that there are comments to my posts, but when I click on them I'm just rerouted to the main page and can't read them?

@ajworkman2 This can happen if someone replies and then either later deletes their post or even their entire Sprinklr account. The same applies if the reply is spam or is otherwise inappropriate and is deleted by IMDb.

Hope this helps.

I doubt this happened but thank you. (The site has become incredibly problematic on so many levels.)

I post here. I'm notified on the little bell above that someone has commented on my post. I click on the comment. I am then (always) rerouted to Michelle's opening statement and cannot read the comment. This happens repeatedly. Why can't I read the comments on my own posts? Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation Link : https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbprocom/once-again-why-cant-i-read-comments-on-my-posts-here/6956d4466396e03dbbf225cb Title : Once again: why can't I read comments on my posts here?

@ajworkman2  Sorry, we did not appreciate that none of the notification links were working properly for you.  Do you have email notifications enabled? If so, are the links in the email notifications broken too? If not, it would be worth enabling them to help diagnose the problem.  To enable email notifications, click your profile image in the upper right of any Sprinklr page; from the menu which appears, chose the “Profile Settings” option, and on the resulting page, visit the “Notifications and Preferences” tab to enable the appropriate email notifications.

Once you have received a few email notifications, if they are not working either, please post 2-3 examples of links from these emails which are not working; or let us know if it is just the on-site notifications which are misbehaving.  The links from the notification emails should be easy to copy and paste here from the “View on IMDb Community Forms” links in the messages.

Thanks, Col, but emails aren't my issue. I'm talking about the little bell along the black band on top of my page, that lets me know, in red, when someone has commented on my posts. I click on the comment as listed there (the bit I can see) and it just takes me to someone else's post! You created IMDbPro, did you not? You're in charge, right? So I feel I can say to you, since I (many of us) have been a paying member for so many years, that changes in the last two years are terrible. No professional in the industry has time to click and click and click. You've made it impossible to hover and read essential information. You or someone there has destroyed our rankings, and now they're front and center (unlike our bio, which now must be searched for), so that anyone not in the very upper echelons of the industry may be adversely judged. Many friends have finally quit IMDbPro in the last two years, and I will leave at the end of this year. Why am I paying for this kind of treatment? I've written for Spielberg, Fincher and Emmerich, for literally every major film studio in the US and abroad. Why does this matter less to IMDb than whether TikTok and Insta send people clicking for names? Your algo is unfair and very bad, for working writers in particular. AW

Hello @ajworkman2,

Thank you for clarifying.

Regarding the issues opening the Community notifications,  most browser issues can be resolved by attempting these troubleshooting steps:

• Close the tab, then re-open

• Log out of your account, then log back in

• Restart your device

• Try using a different browser.

If none of that works, please provide us with the following information:

• Device model:

• Browser (example: Firefox):

• Browser Version

• Are you using your Mobile or Desktop?

• Screenshot/video of the error

• Do you have an ad blocker enabled?:

Hi Jolene. I tried everything you suggested. Community notifications are now working, thank you.
