Cookie banner doesn't go away

I accept the cookies, I reject the cookies, I tried all kinds of combinations, but the cookie banner always appears on macOS Firefox. OKay guys I accept the cookies whatever you wanna store about me I accept it. Please let those banners go away. I reset the firefox started from scratch, I opened and closed my refrigerator, yelled to mountains. Nothing is changed.

Thanks for the problem report. We do not have any other reports of similar problems so this is likely to be a local issue affecting only you, sorry. Please see the advice in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF and let us know what happens. Please pay particular attention to the points on disabling VPNs, ad blockers, and other browser plugins.

I specifically disabled uBlock for IMDB, but nope, it didn't make any difference. Ironically, I re-enabled uBlock Origin and then added "Cookie Notices" filters on uBlock Origin, and I don't see any banners now. I can tolerate ads, but seeing that huge banner every day and clicking it to see the content is just too much.

Hi @dontwantcookiesplz -- I am sorry to hear about the persistent cookie banner. Let me try to help. IMDb is required under regulations such as GDPR (in the EU and UK) to show a cookie consent banner when we're unable to confirm your previous selection. Typically, if you're logged in or we recognize your session, you'll only see the banner once per year. But if you're using incognito mode, a VPN, strict Firefox settings, or regularly clearing cookies, IMDb may not retain that confirmation -- so the banner keeps returning. Since you've already tried quite a bit, could you let me know: 1) Are you logged in when this happens? 2) Are you using private browsing or blocking third-party cookies? 3) Does this happen across devices or just on macOS Firefox? I'm happy to get this sorted quickly. Really appreciate your patience -- and sense of humor.
