Daily watchlist email

I have been getting the daily watchlist email for a couple years now, since I left cable and started streaming everything. It has become my way of knowing what to watch every night. It always came in the afternoon for me, here in Central time zone of US. Well, several days ago, the email started arriving in the middle of the night at like 2 AM. I got several in a row like this, and now for past 2 or 3 days I have not received anything, even though shows have been on. I have checked my junk/spam folders, and done a search for IMDb in my email program, and have not found anything. I have also not changed anything in the app or elsewhere that should trigger them to stop arriving. I have checked to make sure everything is still checked to receive them daily, in case the app updated and somehow changed my preferences, but everything is checked for receiving the emails daily. Please advise if something has changed for these, or if there is something else I need to do. I am missing shows cause I don’t know what’s on every day.

@lashlee Sorry to hear about the problem.  Please can you follow the advice in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/manage-your-email-subscriptions-and-watchlist-notifications/GFSALECHJBMR4U5B (particularly ensure that your country is set correctly).

If this does not fix the issue, please let us know:

(a) in which country are you located

(b) the titles of 2-3 example series with new episodes airing recently where IMDb has a release date for those episodes in your country yet you did not receive a notifcation.

Thanks.

@Col_Needham

I have already tried those things. I have been active on the account, adding new shows to my Watchlist as I start them. And I’m in the US, which is what was checked. Two shows that were not emailed to me were Big Brother, November 7th episode, and Special Forces: Worlds Toughest Test, November 6th episode. There are probably others, but these are two that I definitely know about.

@lashlee Thanks for the confirmation.  The team report that we are in the middle of a behind-the-scenes technology migration with the email service and there have been a few unexpected problems.  Normal service should resume within the next 24 hours as we catch-up.

The migration also accounts for the change in the timing of the emails.
