Explanation of the problem:
IMDb has an excellent database for movies and TV shows, but there is currently a gap in the way users can track their progress through TV series. It would be very useful to have a dedicated Episode Tracker that allows users to mark individual episodes as watched and clearly see which episodes they have completed, which episode they are currently on, and what remains unwatched.

The tracker could also provide useful information such as the next episode to watch, recently watched episodes, upcoming episodes, and overall progress for each series. A simple visual progress indicator at the show and season level would make it much easier to manage multiple ongoing series.

This would be particularly useful for users who watch many shows at the same time and want IMDb to serve not only as a database and rating platform, but also as a personal TV-watching management tool.

Suggested functionality:

• Mark individual episodes as watched/unwatched

• Automatically track progress by season and series

• Show the user's current/next episode

• Display overall viewing progress

• Track upcoming episodes and releases

• Provide a personal list of currently watching shows

• Allow users to see recently watched episodes

• Sync episode progress across devices

• Optional notifications for new episodes

Adding an Episode Tracker would make the TV experience on IMDb significantly more useful for regular viewers and encourage users to return to the platform throughout the lifecycle of a series.
