How can I get email notifications about movies in my Watchlist that are not in general release?

I have been adding titles to my IMDb Watchlist for at least five years and have never received an email notification about a screening in my area. I have confirmed that my IMDb email address is valid. I believe that the reason I don't get notifications is that the Watchlist only reports on things on TV and films in wide release. However, the movies I want to see are usually ones that are not in wide release; I want to see them when they come back into a theater in my area.

For example, this week Netflix is showing movies at the Paris Theater in NYC which (apparently) did not get theatrical releases during the early pandemic.  No fewer than 3 of these movies are on my Watchlist -- but I did not get email about any of them and I only learned of the screenings by accident.

Is there any way that I could access data that would enable me to write a program that would check IMDb's list of theatrical releases in my area once a day (or week), search for titles in my Watchlist, and generate email messages to me about upcoming screenings?
