I am buying a new computer. How do I get my imdb account activated on my new device?
How do I get my imdb account on to my new computer? It is currently on my desktop...fine...but my laptop..old laptop....has given up completely...I had IMDb on that as well but am unable to access it.
So how do I start afresh with my new device? Do I need passwords or acct. numbers? Where do I find those? thanks.

Ple: On most pages on IMDb, if you are not logged in, you should see "Sign in" at the upper right part of the screen. (If you are logged in, you should see your username there.)
Click on "Sign in" and you will be able to log in, using either an IMDb account or an Amazon, Google, Apple, or Facebook account. Sign in on your new device the way you previously logged into IMDb.
If it's an IMDb account, and you have forgotten the password, choose "Sign in with IMDb" and then use the "Forgot your password?" option to get a new password. As long as you still have access to your prior e-mail account, you should be able to recover your account.
If you previously logged into IMDb with an Amazon, Google, Apple, or Facebook account, I assume you can log into it, or go to the appropriate site to get a new password for that company if needed.
