I would like to sort my watch list by what available on a particular streaming service.

I would like to sort my watch list by what available on a particular streaming service.

IMDb will show watch options from the page for a specific movie or show.  However, I have an extensive watch list and would like to be able to filter that list by availability on streaming services.

I.E. view everything that is available to watch on Hulu.  or Paramount +.  Or Netfilx. etc.

It would also be helpful to be able to put layered filters on my watch list.

I.E. show all watchlist records that are 1.) movies; 2.) Horror Genre; 3.) on Paramount+.

does IMDb have this functionality?

Have you tried:

1) the Refine features on the Watchlist itself

2) the Advance Title Search

@bderoes How exactly would those searches work?

There are only three streaming options that I know of available in the IMDb watchlist sorting, shown below.

What other streaming services can be searched in a watchlist?

I just added a title that's listed on IMDb as available on Hulu, and Hulu did _not_ appear as another option under Where to Watch. Therefore I conclude that only the "home team" options are available, as you show in your screenshot, and which is consistent with what's on Advanced Title Search.

But the OP didn't say they wanted _more_ than what's there; they phrased the post as though no such options exist. So I pointed out what's already there.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought they were asking how to do such a search.

The OP's phrase "I would like to" is rather vague. I took it as "I would like to know how to do this....," while you correctly interpreted it as "IMDb should modify its search and filter options so that I would be able to......"

Thanks for the feedback.  The reference implementation for lists / watchlists is the iOS app where the filters you suggest are available today (and with the widest range of third party streaming providers for our US customers vs. other countries, but other countries are catching-up as we on-board more partners internationally).   We appreciate this is of little use if you do not have an iOS device, but the long-term plan has the site and the Android app catching-up.

Hi Col, For the watchlist on iOS, under Refine > Streaming, BritBox is missing as an option. Can that be added? Also if where to watch could be added in the .csv when exporting the watchlist from the website that would be amazing. I'm really enjoying using the watchlist to save things to watch. I just retired after 40 years of working too much and missed so many shows and movies I want to catch up on. Thanks!

Thank all three for pointing out where the filter options are available.  I was using the IMDB website, so I did not realize the IOS application has more robust watch option filters.

good to know all of this is available.

thanks again

When I go to my "Your Ratings" list, it gives me a bunch of details about the movies I have rated including a bit on How to Watch (Amazon Prime, HBO Max, etc.).  This could be helpful, but since I've already watched the film, odds are I already know that information.  Or, at least, am not likely to be looking for it again, and almost certainly not in list form.

However, when I go to My Watch List, it doesn't have that same information.  It would only seem logical that it's more helpful to have that information on a list of movies you're looking to watch instead of on a list of movies you already have watched.  I'm not actually opposed to it being on the Your Ratings page, but it would be really nice if were on the My Watch List page, as well.  The functionality is obviously already there, it's just not programmed to the Your Watch List page.

Any chance that information could be added to the My Watch List page, as well as the Your Ratings page?

Over the years, I've added 540 movies I'd like to watch (or show my family), and the app lets me filter by "Streaming" (to 332), but which of those are available on Netflix? Or on Paramount+? Or Max? It'd be great if the "Watch options" filter would further specify "Streaming - Netflix", "Streaming - Paramount+", etc. Thanks for your consideration!
