IMDb Redesigns Character Pages

We are excited to announce the launch of IMDb’s redesigned Character subpages on IMDb.com! (Note: These are not available on the apps at this time) The updated pages are meant to make your IMDb experience easier and more enjoyable by providing a modern, clean and intuitive presentation of information. The new pages have consistent features and functionality allowing to to view and share photos and quotes specific to the character in the title.

We hope you enjoy these latest improvements, and thank you for continuing to make IMDb the world’s most trusted source for movie, TV, and entertainment content. As always we welcome your feedback – please feel free to post your questions and comments to this thread.

@ACT_1 If you are asking about character name search then this is available via Advanced Title Search at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/ -- please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/discover-watch/using-the-advanced-search-feature/GLUEUYWPQNPTEVPU# for more details.

For example, for movies featuring a character named "Superman" -> https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature&characters=Superman

(we have a pending enhancement request with the search team to show exactly which actor / character name matched directly in the search results).

Hope this helps.

@Michelle 😁

@Col_Needham 😎

Thank you for replies

IMDb has an Index for Titles           using tt5950044...
IMDb has an Index for Names        using nm0001659...
IMDb has an Index for Companies using co0002663...
for a search list
IMDb does NOT have an Index for Characters using ch1?2?3?4?5... ??
That would make it easier to search

Diffycult to remember...
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=feature&characters=Superman
