IMDB Top 1,000

Question

I enthusiastically suggest a larger form of the legendary IMDb Top 205. That list has clearly been the prime standard when it comes to figuring out the best movies ever made for ages and will continue to be so. I would really appreciate a longer list like Top 1,000 or Top 2,500 for the nerds / afficionados.Looking forward to what you guys are thinking about this :)

I second. Why not making a special section with Top 251 to Top 1000, and maybe a third with Top 1001 - 2500?

Thanks for the suggestion, however, you can already make your own Top 1,000 list (and more) via Advanced Title Search (ATS) at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/For example, here are all the movies rated 7.5/10 or higher with 50,000+ votes.
