imdb.com gives me 403
Hi, I cannot get to www.imdb.com from any device with my home IP. If I disconnect and use cell tower or simply VPN, I can get there just fine. The server response has this in its header: awselb/2.0 I noticed my query has an aws-waf-token cookie, implying they are using aws web application firewall. I created a ticket with AWS support, and they said I have to contact the vendor as Amazon is not responsible for any customized blocks. AWS response: We reviewed the CloudFront logs associated with the request ID you provided for a request to `imdb.com`. These logs indicated the request was blocked due to the web application firewall (WAF) configured on the site. It should be noted, because the CloudFront distribution and the associated WAF responsible for blocking the request is owned by a different AWS account, I do not have visibility on the specific WAF rule that might have blocked the request. With that said, WAFs can block requests based on multiple factors such as IP reputation, geo-restrictions, or other security measures implemented by the website owners. I assure you it's not a geo-restriction as I'm in San Diego and this site has always worked. I've also searched my IP address in many blocked IP databases, and I'm not in any of them. I also tried to get the ISP to change my IP, but they are too incompetent to perform this simple task after fighting with them for an hour. I refuse to accept VPN as a permanent solution. Any ideas?
