Interaction with fellow reviewers

I have been reading reviews on IMDB since quite some time and every now and then I want to interact, comment on and discuss the reviews of the people but there's just no way to comment or message or even know the social media accounts of reviewers for conversation. Please help and make IMDB better by allowing to comment on reviews or message reviewers or at least let us see their social media handles

I read a review (https://www.imdb.com/review/rw3357656/?ref_=tt_urv) and I couldn't agree more with the author and have similar questions about this story. I would like to discuss this in depth with the author, but I can't find any contact information on his personal page

Is there any channel or way I can get his email address?

@hooraychining This is not supported, sorry, unless the author has provided details of they can be contacted in the bio on their activity page.  We have merged your comment into an existing idea thread so other customers can vote upon it.

@ACT_1

Haha couldn't be true but yes I strongly feel that re-introducing message boards would do hell lot of good to IMDB

Amazon no longer allows comments for reviews probably because it didn't have the staff to handle all the complaints about the comments. (Plus, staff members often made incredibly incompetent decisions.)  The same thing likely would happen here at IMDB with public comments getting out of hand, or too many individuals complaining they felt "disrespected" or "abused" by someone who commented on their review. It's obvious, too, many reviewers here have extremely strong opinions about movies and TV shows.  Thus, I wouldn't expect any public comments being allowed in the future, and personally would be concerned about the type of comments left privately by other reviewers.  Although I, too, have often wanted to leave a public comment after reading a review . . . .
