Intrusive Banner on Every IMDB Header and Children Pages

Question

Why is this same Advertisement banner used on absolutely every page of the website? It is incredibly intrusive, going as far as to follow as a user scrolls down the page, as it lingers a few seconds before fading. Users therefor must navigate pages with just 3/4 of the content visible, knowing this will occur again and again, once they decide to navigate to another subsection of the website (e.g. reviews/cast/film details). Why every page? Why the constant exposure to the same ad banner regardless of where you go on the site or how many times it has been previously loaded?

@jim_searsino Thanks for the problem report. We are not running any ads which are the same on every page. What specifically is being advertised and in which country are you located? You may find the advice in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF helpful, especially the point on trying a different browser.
