Issues with my ratings list

also it doesn't have the most critical feature of imdb.

and the default list has no navigation no filtres. i can't restrict it to titles instead of episodes or animation. i can't even navigate it because there is no compact view, no page numbers on top — only on the bottom after you scroll several metres of screen-space, and those only go one by one. changing the page number in url will just reload the page while changing the number of the first tile you can put a milliard there if you want.

how am i supposed to get to 29 07 2017?

@agof It would be helpful if you provided the url for these examples. I can't advise how to "get to 29 07 2017" when I don't know where you're coming from. Perhaps this is relevant?

https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=tv_episode&release_date=,2017-07-29&sort=release_date,desc

Being able to specify a release date by year alone is currently gone, and makes the new search not backward compatible with saved search urls (as @Col_Needham stated elsewhere), and I was early to complain about it during the beta.

We can definitely restrict to episodes vs movies. It's just tucked away under title type.

Compact view still exists (upper right icon); it's just not as compact as before.

I definitely miss page controls and being able to specify a starting number.

But I love being able to alter my search results without having to backtrack - especially for saved urls where there was no Back to reach.

@agof You wrote:

The page you are referencing is the ratings history page which is still on the old technology so these posts have been moved from the Advanced Title Search (ATS) thread to here.   However, you can use ATS to achieve all of the above, please start at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?sort=your_rating_date,desc&my_ratings=restrict and use the filters on the left and the sort at the top.

We will pass along your suggestion of filtering on date-of-rating to the appropriate team for when the actual ratings history page is migrated.

Hope this helps.

before this "old technology" it was using "older technology" from 5 years ago instead of from 2 years ago where all of the filtres were present

advanced search does nothing. it doesn't show the date of rating so it's literally not useful for that, and it has even worse navigation. there's no navigation. all i can do is add "50 more". i have thousands of ratings, and i need 2017. with "add 50 more" the new GUI imdb unoptimized monstrosity will crash my web browser and fill my 32 ram before i even reach the start of this year. stable web link addresses for stable pages, like every normal site is doing, is proper tech, these pseudo infinite scrollers which can't even scroll plain do not work and are not intended to ever be seen beyond the first unpage

@agof Thanks for the feedback.  We have passed this along to the appropriate team given this page has not been migrated yet.
