Keep original "date added" when moving titles between lists

Currently, when I move a title from my Watchlist to another custom list, the original "date added" is lost and replaced with the date of the move. I would really like to preserve the original date the title was added to IMDb, as this helps track my viewing habits and interest history more accurately. Could IMDb consider keeping the original date added, or at least offering an option to retain it when moving titles between lists?
