List is suffering numbering glitch
I have had this happen before on other lists, but I really would like a solution to this problem as it's now affected a very personal list of mine. On my list "To watch on prime" (https://www.imdb.com/list/ls033811739/), I was trying to move a film from roughly #4569 to #671 in the list. I received about four to five error messages, causing me to refresh to prevent a glitch in the numbering (again, this has happened on previous lists). At one point I got a 404 message. In an attempt to fix this I instead switched it to 672 and now my list is majorly screwed up: I take a lot of pride in this list and the timeline that can be gleamed from the "Added" dates on each entry. I don't want to transfer all of the data from this list into a new list, which I spent this past week doing after this glitch happened with a private list. I also don't want to find ways to "cheat the system" in order to attempt to have entries placed in the order I want (i.e. entering wrong or different numbers). Is there a way that someone on the team can correct this error? When will this numbering glitch, which has been present for me since 2016, be fixed sitewide?
