List Numbering Bug Keeps Getting Worse

I know it must be annoying to hear this same complaint over and over, but it's getting a bit ridiculous. I can't even make additions to a list without the numbering getting completely screwed up. This isn't just because the list is too big either; I tried getting around it by splitting the list into four different ones, and each of them still had the numbering error when I made one new addition. I understand that this sort of thing is very complicated, but what I don't understand is how this bug keeps getting worse and worse. It used to be this sort of thing happened only once every few months, but recently it's been a daily occurrence, and today it was simply unavoidable. That doesn't make sense to me, and it doesn't help that the only workaround I've been offered was to try it on the Apple apps. Putting aside the fact that managing a large list on a mobile device sounds like a truly miserable experience, I don't own any Apple devices, so that advice does nothing for me. At this point I don't know what the solution would be, and it seems like no one else does either. Constantly asking you guys to fix the list is a waste of everyone's time, yours and mine, but I guess that's the only option we have.
