Hi Philip, Once logged into IMDb, you can go to your Account Settings page, https://www.imdb.com/registration/accountsettings/ - and select "Site settings" to edit either your region or your preferred language. This can also be done from anywhere on the IMDb site, next to your name near the top-right-hand-side of the screen, you will see a language code, which can be selected and your preferred option can be chosen from there. That way you can view IMDb in whichever fully supported language option available from that list. I hope this helps!

There are a lot of foreign language TV shows and movies on Netflix, but most of them have their title translated to English, so we only know them by their English titles. Even though IMDb allows searching by the English title, it always shows the original language title on the page. It makes it difficult or impossible to cross-reference. For example, I am watching Billionaires' Bunker - which even uses the English Netflix image for its poster - but it lists it as El refugio atómico. Then I see an actor in the show and wonder where I have seen them before, and clicking on their name takes me to their page, where it lists all his credits in Spanish. Of course. But I only know the English titles, so this is no help at all. It would be great if there was a "switch" on the pages to switch between the original language and the user's default language. Thanks! Yup, that shows my language of choice for everything except the titles, which is what I am talking about.

The setting mainly controls which titles you see, that's why it's labeled "title display". I believe the default if you're in an English speaking country is to see English titles when available, even if you're not signed in.

Note that you should select a country under country/region. The language setting doesn't do anything on its own.

Oh! That is helpful information. I had language set to English but the country was Origin. Switching it to Canada seems to have now changed several of the titles to English. So I'll update my "idea" to say that should be explained better on the Preferences pages. Thanks for getting me there!
