Long waits for Storylines and Details

I use imdb as a reference and am on it several times a day. Why do Storylines and Details for each film have to be downloaded from some other source now? Waiting for them to download can be very time consuming considering I'm looking up info on the site 15-20 times a day.

I previously got this reply about the Storyline section:

This section has been moved out of the main page load to speed-up the overall page load times for everyone. It now "lazy loads" on demand when you reach the Storylinesection (which not all customers scroll down to on every title page they view).

@Peter_pbn Rather than admit their server is too slow, I guess they've decided to cutely call it "lazy load" and somehow that makes it different, lol...?

@doug_mckirahan Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF and particularly note the point on ad blockers.

The extra delays you are experiencing are usually caused by the presence of an incorrectly configured ad blocker.

I just turned off AdBlock completely and you're right, everything loaded immediately. I'm getting a lot of ads popping up on the top of the page, though, unfortunately. Wondering why I'm having problems with the site using AdBlock when I never have in the past..?
