In Progress

Metascore is not visible on lists if the title has a scheduled release date

Example, on your list for Toronto International Film Festival, Metascore disappeared for many titles, like Roofman, Eleanor the Great, If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, Yek tasadef sadeh, O Agente Secreto, Train Dreams, Nouvelle Vague etc. Only when you click on them you can see Metascore. https://imdb.com/list/ls4100017781/ I hope this is a bug.

@plur62, Thanks for flagging this. I can confirm that I can see the metascores for the titles in question reflecting on the list. Is this still a persistingissue from your end please confirm.

@plur62 As @Ab_J_Sam notes, these are still visible for us. If you are still experiencing the issue, it must be a local problem on your system, in which case please follow the advice on https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF and let us know that happens.

https://i.postimg.cc/LXgHFLMM/Screenshot-20250918-233549-Chrome.jpg This is on Chrome for Android. As you can see in the screenshot, for the movie "Hamnet" the Metascore is visible, while for "Vie privée" it is not, I guess because of this "Releases" below, this is the case for any title that has a "Releases" below the title in the lists, or "Coming Soon" when you enter the title page. So, if a title on a page has a "Coming Soon" tag, the Metascore for that title will not be visible in the lists.

@plur62 Thanks for sharing the screengrab. So the issue here is that you are on a mobile device which is not wide enough to dsiplay all of the content. The Metascore is actually still present, but there is no room for it so the display adapts to this vs. wrapping it onto another line badly. FWIW there is enough room on an iPhone 16 Pro Max to display it, but the last thing you need is another iPhone user recommending you switch from Android :-) We will flag this to the team as we could at least include the Metascore in the pop-up which appears when you tap the "(i)" icon next to each title.
