Solved

Most popular movies page is not sorting correctly

The order of the titles on this page should follow the current order that the title has. Sometimes the number is treated as a string and has an incorrect but predictable order. But that is not the case, it is kind of random. https://www.imdb.com/chart/moviemeter/?ref_=nv_mv_mpm

@dhiogoacioli Thanks for the problem report, however, this is nothing to be concerned about. Each Sunday night / Monday morning (depending on your time zone) there is a very brief period of time where the new popularity (MOVIEmeter) numbers are displayed on https://www.imdb.com/chart/moviemeter/ but the sort order is still that of the previous week. This is normally just a matter of minutes (or less) and a reload of the page a short time later will fix the problem. Hope this helps.

So this list is only updated once a week?

Yes, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdbpro/industry-research/starmeter-moviemeter-and-companymeter-faq/GSPB7HDNPKVT5VHC and specifically: “How are these ratings calculated? IMDbPro uses proprietary algorithms that take into account several measures of popularity for people, titles and companies. The primary measure is who and what people are looking at on IMDb. The rankings are updated on a weekly basis, typically by the end of Monday.”
