My 14+ year old account is no longer available.

I created an account way back in circa 2008 using an email address I was using at that time. All was fine until a month back when I tried back logging in with the same account as always, I got a "We cannot find an account with that email address" message. Can anyone help me please? I had lots of lists and my watchlist over these years. Thanks in advance.
